Moto Munster is a motorcycle tour guide operator helping
people with a short amount of time to explore Ireland's south west. Our objective
is to save you time by arranging the routes and organising the accommodation
so that when you arrive in Ireland we will lead you on the nicest routes. Showing
off some of Ireland's nicest scenery and experiencing some nice pubs and quaint
bed and breakfasts.
Counties Cork and Kerry offer some exhilarating roads and sublime scenery, plus
some of the most friendly people you could wish to meet.
We will take you to some of the South West's best known
roads and passes as well as some that most tourists don't have the time or experience
to find.
Mizzen Head, Sheeps Head, Beara Peninsula, Ring of Kerry and Ring of Dingle.
Covered in Four days. Including such fantastic routes as the Tim Healey Pass,
Borleen Valley and the Connor Pass, to name but a few of the roads to be taken.
The emphasis is on the guide to be able to accommodate the riding style of each group be it slow photo taking or faster mile eating days taking in the best possible roads. Boreens to fast sweeping roads.
The starting
point of the route would be Cork city which is a four hour Journey from Dublin
ports or Three hours from Rosslaire. Routes can be supplied but as most ferries
arrive morning or evening the best would be to take the relatively fast roads
to Cork to make the Midday meet up.
Day 1 would be a coastal route of mainly smooth roads to either Schul or Crookhaven
both lovely little coastal villages near the end of Mizzen Head; Check into
the B and B and then time permitting visit the Mizzen Head centre.
Day 2 starts at nine am and takes in the Mizzen head to Sheeps head followed
by Priests leap and then into Kenmare. Finishing off with one of our favourite
coastal routes to Allihies. Where we will spend two nights.
Day 3 Two nights in Allihies allows the riders to leave their baggage behind in the B and B and go for a lovely ride taking in the Healey pass back to Kenmare. Then around the ring of Kerry with a short visit to the historical town of Kilarney. From Kilarney back over Molls Gap to Kenmare. Followed by the tunnel road to Glengariff and a short blast back to Allihies, stopping off for some liquid refreshment at the legendary “Mcarthys bar”.
Day 4 Reload the bikes and head off into Kerry again for some nice back roads through the mountains to Kilorglin and on to the northern side of Dingle to ride the Connor pass and book into the B and B at Dingle. Once unloaded and with time permitting we will be able to ride round the end of the Peninsula to visit Dunquin and look out to the Blasket islands.
Day 5 of the four day trip.... Will be a ride back towards kilarney where we will part company. From there we will supply itineraries to head up to county Clare or Galway or a fast route back to Dublin or Rosslaire.
The Price
for the four nights and days riding includes the B and B per person sharing.
The Guide and one evening meal in his home in Allihies.
Obviously all riders should have a full licence, insurance including travel
insurance and all the necessary paperwork for their roadworthy bike.
Routes can be changed obviously but we feel we will give you the best possible
value if you follow our tried and tested routes.
Dates are easy, email us when you would like to do the trip and we will reply
quickly if that slot is available.
